Blockboard is a type of board made by wooden pieces inserted between ply of hardwood which bonds together under high pressure and temperature. It has good screw holding capability and is also resistant to warping, which makes it an excellent material for applications such as partition walls, doors, tables, and shelves.
It is used for furniture and articles that require lightweight veneering and offers good screw-tearing resistance; and for articles that require hardness and level surfaces. These panels are especially useful for briarwood veneering of different thicknesses.
